Here is some advice from another professional we have used on many occasions:

"My aim at Nails and beauty by Ali is to make your wedding day as stress free as possible by offering professional makeup application for you and any other members of your bridal party. Your Wedding album will be viewed for a lifetime and you will want to look your best!

Having your makeup applied professionally will help complete the look you've spent so long putting together. Just a simple application that takes into consideration your colouring, skin type and features can have surprising results, together with a professional Photographer we can produce fantastic results in your photographs.

Not convinced? Need More Reasons?

1. Spending time with your mum and or bridesmaids having your hair and make up done together is a great experience and may be one of the last chances you all get to spend together before the wedding.

2. NERVES, you can relax and know that you are in the hands of a professional who specializes in Weddings and working with Brides.

3. Finally, it is your big day and one that many women dream of since they were a little girl, this may be the only day you ever have to be a complete princess.  Enjoy, relax and let other people do the work for you!

I would definatly recommend a trial session prior to your wedding day so that we can get a look that suits you best and you feel most comfortble with, If you are thinking of a dramatic or themed look, I can do that as well!

Even if you dont normally wear make up, applied correctly it can really give you a fresh natural and radiant look. If you do wear makeup day in day out, be prepared to try new looks and you may be surprized.  However please also feel free to bring along your own particular favourites and any photgraphs or pictures you may have too.

It is a great idea to have some facials before your big day but unless you have them on a regular basis, a facial will pull the impurities to the surface and may cause you to breakout in spots so I would reccomend having them a few months before the wedding.  Don't be tempted to make any changes to your skincare regime in the weeks or days leading up to your wedding day either, we want you to look as flawless as possible.

Nails and any beauty treatments such as eye brow shapes and tints, lip and chin waxing are all best done before the day, I often find that brides prefer their nails done the evening before and this is not a problem at all.

I also offer St tropez spray tanning if you feel you would like a healthy glow !!

I do understand how very important it is that you look good, not only on camera but up-close when speaking with your guests, too much and your face may look caked and overdone , too little, and the camera could wash you out.

Remember that there is a difference between daytime makeup and what you'd normally wear on a night out, using good makeup that suits your skin colour and complexion is essential. Using well-chosen quality skin care products to improve your complexion should be high on your list of things to do before the wedding.

I prefer to have a trial with all my brides about 2 months before the wedding day. If possible bring along and fabric swatches flower samples ect....

I can also order products for you so that you can touch up for the evening  if need be.

I look forward to  helping you prepare for your Wedding."
